What Our Neighbors Say
Carol Thompson
The Strouss family was excellent to work with. The quality of work was excellent. We did a complete remodel of our cottage and their attention to detail is evident in the finished product. Strouss Builders have been doing this a long time and have all things covered.

Strouss Construction did excellent work on the exterior of our home. They work great as a team, were here every day and made our project a priority. Dan Jr. and Aaron did exceptional work and communicated the whole way. I would recommend the Strouss team.

Four Generations, One Family Name
Since 1949, Strouss Construction has built quality homes across Jackson County. What began as a small home building company is now in its fourth generation of builders. Dan Strouss runs the company today, carrying on the standard set by his father, Charles E. Strouss. We do the work ourselves, our name goes on it, and most of our jobs still come from a neighbor telling a neighbor.
We do the work ourselves
Strouss is owner operated. The family and crew are on your job site with their own hands, not a rotating cast of subcontractors.
A name built on word of mouth
Most of our work comes from neighbors telling neighbors. That only happens when you show up, do it right and stand behind it.

Faith and honest work
We put faith, honesty and real craftsmanship into every build, and we treat your home like it was our own.
One Builder for the Whole Project
From a brand new custom home to the shop out back, our own crew handles it start to finish, so you are never juggling a pile of subcontractors.

New Homes & Barndominiums
We build custom homes and barndominiums from the ground up, on your land, with our own crew doing the work.
